We're proud to announce the very first JuntoDay, an exclusive learning event in Chicago for founders and entrepreneurs to:

  • work on your business, not in it
  • learn from those who have been there, done that
  • meet like-minded founders & leaders
  • discover best practices for growing companies
  • escape the grind to nourish your mind

At JuntoDay, company founders will participate in three hands-on learning sessions from successful and accomplished entrepreneurs and executives. Each session has been designed on the core educational principles of The Junto Institute: shared experiences, hands-on application, and interactive discussion. In addition, JuntoDay will conclude with a special Founders Dinner to facilitate networking and relationship-building for you with peer entrepreneurs.

SESSION 1: BUILDING SALES PROCESS & STRATEGY

Dan Dal Degan, President of Ensighten

In this session, you will learn:

  • what a customer-oriented funnel and sales process look like, and how to make yours repeatable and scalable
  • proven strategies and tactics to find, build trust with, and move leads through your funnel
  • how to use technology and automation to manage your sales team efficiently and effectively

Frank Riordan, Founder/President of DMC Engineering

In this session, you will learn:

  • strategies to recruit, hire, and manage a workforce of Millennials and entry-level employees
  • common pitfalls and warning signs related to people and culture that emerge as a company grows
  • the people challenges you're likely to face during growth, such as employee fit, performance standards, generalist/specialist balance, etc.

About Frank & DMC 

Founded in 1996 by Frank Riordan, DMC is a project-based engineering and software development firm that was ranked as the top workplace for Millennials and #3 workplace for Gen X by Crain's Chicago Business in 2015. The company has nearly 100 employees in Chicago, Boston, Denver, Houston, and New York City, many of whom were hired out of college.
